Writing Friendly Letters for Lower Elementary Students

We know how many students are using email and Word to write and correct their letters.  So, why even teach how to write letters in the “old fashioned way?”

“Nothing brightens your day more than a letter, much less a letter from a child.”  That’s why!

They can begin to write letters to their peers in the classroom, to characters in a favorite book, to their mother, to their teacher.

But at first, they have to be shown the formal organization of this type of letter.  That’s the reason for this post from Comprehensionconnection.net.
