I know I’ve been “on vacation” about putting in posts and it’s not even the Christmas holidays yet!  I also know that most of my readers are really looking forward to spending time during Thanksgiving with your families who you don’t get to spend enough time being around.  I totally understand.

I also know that you’re beginning to feel that your ideas to make Reading instruction more fun yet educational are beginning to run out.  So, here’s a jump start to re-charge your battery of ideas to use during the next several months.

These ideas can also be added to your home school curriculum.

Ideas?  How about the fly swatter swat it game that also works with ESL students.  How about story telling with sight words?  For older kids, why not sight word ghost busters or the outside fair weather sight word soccer?  Do I have your attention now?
