We Were Meant to be Teachers!

Classroom Management Strategies and other Teacher Worthy Ideas

How to Deal with a Difficult Co-Teacher

Do you have to “deal” with a difficult co-teacher or co-worker?  First of all, make sure that you’re correct in your evaluation.  Why?  Because it may just be YOU who is the problem.  Consider that…

Here’s a blog that features a series of ideas about what to do if you feel that you’re in that situation in your classroom.  I’m reminded of #Matthew 18 in which it says we should speak to that person first and then move on up the “chain of command” in your school if you can’t solve this problem.

Have your data and examples available and DON’T bring in another person to the conversation unless it’s the Department Chair or Principal.

These same principles can be used in a small office situation, of course.  Contact your H/R department after you’ve tried to solve this problem.
