I just saw this post from teachthough.com, and thought it may help you evaluate your year as a teacher (or parent) this past school year. No human can succeed at all of these characteristics each and every day, for sure. But that shouldn’t prevent us from trying to be this type of parent.
Did you promote inquisitive learning? Did you provide your learners opportunity to long term learning activities? Do you see failures of a student as opportunity to learn and improve, aka. T. Edison? Were you and your learners flexible?
