Hey, New Teachers! It’s Okay to Cry in Your Car!

Yes, I’ve been away from my blog for a while.  We were on vacation with family from the West Coast and had a great time laughing and remembering.  But, now it’s time to get back into the saddle.

I just ran into this article that was posted by NPR Ed, and it’s wonderful.  It shares that it’s okay to feel disappointed and tired after a couple of months of teaching.  We’ve all cried (or screamed) about how our goals for the new year aren’t happening yet.  Please don’t get discouraged.  Find a Mentor who has been teaching for longer than a couple of years.  That person should be nothing but an encouraging and shoulder to lean on.  Here’s the post:
