Classroom Management Strategies and other Teacher Worthy Ideas
The last few years of my teaching, I would give my class 5″ of playing or running outside of my classroom, usually mid-afternoon. It provided a wonderful “brain break” and woke them up. Many of my students weren’t allowed to play outside of their homes, you see. Here’s an article written by an occupational therapist, who knows the positive results of independently playing outside, in the woods, on a playground, etc. I know you agree with Angela Hanscom and me.
